Process

Week 1:

For the first week we were introduced to the module and what will we do in the module. Then we were separated (initially) into 4 groups. These 4 groups are following the groups that we will be collaborating with (They are from Business School!). Then we met together in our respective groups (in a breakout room) We then get to know each other and set up our google drive and filing system.

After the group re-arrangements, I got with group 22. In this group we collaborated with business school, "Kita Keto" is their brand name. We meet with the business school group briefly and ask them several questions based on the slide of project brief that they have. Some questions about the product and what do they want from our group (what design? video? logo? etc.)


We then arrange a group meeting between our group and also the business group.
We each have meeting within our group members and also a meeting with some of the business group people.

We manage to do the project document, persona, and empathy but sadly we did a little bit of a wrong direction with the project. We should have done the persona and empathy first before the project document.

Week 2:

We did a consultation with Ms. Lilian. We received a couple of feedbacks. Then we conduct another meeting with our group. To fix our progression. Restarting from our research. Collecting more information to strengthen our base for this project. 

We conduct another meeting on Wednesday to organize all the ideas that we have and work on our parts to make the task 1 presentation.

Then we set up some deadlines so that we are able to finish stuff on time!

DEADLINE !! :

  • Target audience

  • Questionnaire data (Monday before 12PM)

  • Problem statement (Sunday)
  • Project document (Sunday)

Week 3:

We book a meeting with the TBS to learn more about their preferences and what possible outcome for the design. We then agreed on Friday afternoon, 3 people from TBS and unfortunately only 3 people from our group could come to the meeting. 

Then also came the Task 1 presentation day! It was nerve wreaking, but we manage to finish all the task on time!

To prepare the meeting content, we also did divide the task amongst our group member. And start researching and sketching! And all of that should be done before Friday.

Logo :
- Compile logo ideas from internet to Miro - Gita, Hadiya
- Logo sketches / Doodles draft - Gita, Hadiya
Promotional Ideas :
- Research about "interesting" online and offline promotional ideas - Azka, Angel
- Compile References for promotional ideas - Azka, Angel
Packaging :
- Research about packaging ideas and the price range - Fadil
- Compile packaging references to miro board - Fadil, Hadiya 
Social Media :
- Compile social media posts references to miro board - June, harp

Week 4:
Start our Task 2!
Includes discussing what art direction we want to go and dumping some ideas to the Miro board. Nothing much just idea dumping and selecting references of art direction.

Next course of action 

Week 1:

Need to dig in more about our product as we are quite clueless about our product and what exactly they want us to make.
Create google docs to note all of the information from business school as well as our research.
Start our research to fill in our persona and empathy map.

Week 2:

Reconsider our target audience and fix our project flow as we started backwards.
Edit and finish up our persona and empathy map in order to do our presentation slides for next week.
Prepare for presentation!!
Searching for possible art direction for the clients and put it in Miro.

Week 3:

Book a meeting with client to talk about the art direction and decision of what is needed to be done and created from us.

Continue the design concept and start designing!

FEEDBACK

Week 1:

Week 2:

- Ms.Lilian told us that we did the task backwards. Should be the research and the empathy map first then fill in the project documents.
- Reconsider our target audience as it is too broad and not suitable for the product
- More research specifically on our product!

Week 3:

Feedback of Presentation:

- Very organized
- Clear direction with extensive research

Feedback on Task 2 Progression:

- Nothing much, just do more research and start to ask the client the direction they want


REFLECTION

For me this module's pace is quite fast. At first I was like "another group project module..".. I was doubting if it could work or not. Even though I got separated from the first group that got assembled, I quickly adapted to the new group and get to know them, even though I did not know some of my team members. We can quickly go through the small task and requirements for the task 1, but some of the members are not working effectively and did not show up to meetings. 

I am glad I can discover my other side while doing this groupwork, that I can work on pressure and create a nice outcome from it, though I would love to have less pressure with the help of my team mates...

Although there are hardships, I actually learn a lot from working on this project with the Business School team, they are lovely and very cool to work with! I also learn so much from researching in this stage. What is keto, what actually the importance of selecting and eating healthy food.
