Before Playtest 1

After the submission of proposal, we did change the power card and mystery card and combine them as they serve a somewhat similar effect to the game. This decision is made to make the game easier to understand and less confusing for the new players. 

In addition to that change, we also added another feature of bosses or final boss. We decide there will be 3 bosses. The bosses will hinder the player by sending the player pin back 20, 30, and 50 steps. 

Sadly for our first playtest it was not prepared well because someone who were tasked to make the power card which is one of the important aspect of making the game fun didn’t do our targeted amount of cards which is 12. So we only have 6 cards . 

After play test 1

Because of the lack of varieties of cards it feels empty.

In addition to the previous feature of power cards we feel a bit empty and lack of immersive feelings into the game. We need more drama and challenges in this. Then we tried to browse and search for new ideas to input to this game.

Then Honoka came up with the idea to do a battle field. Where there are a couple of spaces where if the player lands they enter a battle field and can choose any player to battle with. If they win they can take 1 of the opponent’s card.  

What we decided to do is to add more varieties to the cards, so it will have some interactive and strategic aspect to our game.
