References for Stop-Motion:

I love the whole story design and narration of the story
A deep meaning behind this stop motion, whilst adding the the value using the character and atmospheric design.
I love the use of real candy and the color design is chosen in accordance to the theme of the stop motion.

Firts I made the proposal of the final project and the whole draft idea.

The inspiration behind my idea was actually a very random feeling and I idea that suddenly came up when browsing for stop motion idea.

Fig 1.1 Storyboard in action

I did consult with Mr.Martin about the initial story board. He said that it is to simple and lack of dynamics and needs more frame or story behind it. To make it more long of a story.
He showed another students examples. And said it has dynamic and made the stop motion interesting.

Fig 1.2 Cutting colored paper for the stop motion

Then after adding and fixing the storyboard, I proceed to cutting papers for the materials for my stop motion. It is very gruesome to cut every single objects inside the stop motion. Especially when it is a different version of one object (cause of the animation), I need to cut different shapes and states.  For example, water pouring from the bottle. I need to make different cuts of different states of the water pouring.

Fig 1.2 Give some shading to give some dimension to the cut out

Fig 1.3 Some more shading

Using colored pencil I gave some shading to create a more defined look and make it more interesting! I then add some more shading and refinement using oil pastels.

Fig 1.5 Photo time!

After done making the paper cuts, next thing is taking photo!

After a tiring and long day, I finally got the end result of the video
